Arcon exploit one of the most modern and intricate assembly systems to date to become a major force in the beam assembly market. A specialised workshop with custom-made machinery forms part of a well-established system combining excellent production rates with top build quality.
An assembly jig, built in-house and fitted with air clamps minimises basic assembly time by allowing a team to quickly level and tack-weld all sections of the beam. This is completely adaptable to fit the most complex of beam layouts including round-tank carriers, stepframe designs or even two-part ‘trombone style’ beams.
The final assembly of the beam is carried out by a team equipped with several high quality MIG welding machines. Gussets, stiffeners and other similar accessories are added if required.
Using the benefits of computerised CAD systems, a well experienced workforce and keeping to the strictest of quality standards ensures that every beam set is complete to the last detail and ready for final trailer assembly with minimal fuss.
